Punch 'n Cut

Hi everyone,

I made this birthday card yesterday and thought I'd share it with you,

I started with my white base card and sponged around the edge in purple ink, I then took a piece of yellow cardstock 0.5cm smaller than my base card on all 4 sides, next I took a piece of white cardstock 0.5cm smaller than the yellow card on all 4 sides and I cut out a 5.5cm circle and used Martha Stewart's fan punch to punch around the cut out circle I then embossed the white cardstock and sponged around the edges with the same purple ink that I used for my base card, I adhered the embossed card to the yellow cardstock

I made the flower using spellbinders sunflower die and coloured the flower with chalks, I layered the flower and attached it to the centre of my cut out circle,

I attach a ribbon bow and then mounted this to my base card.

Thanks for dropping by and please call again

  1. You got me stimulated and I did case this ... but can't show it to you until Wednesday... where it will be posted on www.cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com for the challenge... so check it out... it of course will also be on my blog... I love it... I did have a hard time using the punch upside down... my hands have gotten weaker over the years... but hey... to make a card ... a woman has to do what she can to get things done... LOL... and it is done... will try another one maybe this week-end... Yours is outstanding and I love it.. I am going to add your site to my side panel... please do the same with mine...

So glad we are back in touch... will write you later with address... Love, Light and Peace.. Bonnie

  3. What a wonderful card. I love the way you punched around the center of the circle, how in the world did you do that? And I emailed you a copy of that flower image Nana Donna
