Hello everyone,

It's been a long time (too long) since I showed you some cards which I have created, today I will show you a sympathy card I made, not my best subject for cards but I made this one bright and cheery and added the 23rd psalm which I find fitting for the occassion...I was more than pleased with the results.

Print and Emboss

Hello and welcome,

These 4 cards were made a few weeks ago but I caught the flu really bad and needed to take to my bed so I never got around to sharing them with you until now, it's winter here in Australia and boy don't we know it, I don't think I have ever felt so cold or maybe it's just a sign I am getting older, whatever the reason roll on spring,

All the images on these cards were first printed on to cardstock and then embossed with an embossing frame, I added some ribbon and then mounted the embossed image to my main card...easy peasy, plain but nice I thought...any image can be used or embossing frame to give an equally nice effect,

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day

Floral Silhouette

I wanted to do more than use this stamp as a sihouette image so I stamped it using versafine smokey grey and then coloured the image using crayola pencils,

I cut the stamped and coloured image using Spellbinders oval nestabilities and then using green cardstock I cut a larger oval and adhered my image to it,

I took some blue cardstock and punched all 4 corners using an EK Success punch, I then cut some white cardstock to a size which fit comfortably under the punched corners and then embossed it, next I added my grosgrain ribbon, attached my image with mounting foam and a sentiment using Stampin up Short and Sweet stamps, finished off with a couple of pearls and a Martha Stewart punched butterfly with a bit of glitter added and 3 pearls to its body.

Nice "n Easy

These cards were all made using the same technique but different punches, I found these cards quick and easy to make and ideal as a gift pack or a donation to your favourite charity,

The punches used were Stampin Up, Martha Stewart, EK Success, Fiskars, Whale of a punch and Spellbinders Nestabilities,

The Sentiment was computer generated.

Punch 'n Cut

Hi everyone,

I made this birthday card yesterday and thought I'd share it with you,

I started with my white base card and sponged around the edge in purple ink, I then took a piece of yellow cardstock 0.5cm smaller than my base card on all 4 sides, next I took a piece of white cardstock 0.5cm smaller than the yellow card on all 4 sides and I cut out a 5.5cm circle and used Martha Stewart's fan punch to punch around the cut out circle I then embossed the white cardstock and sponged around the edges with the same purple ink that I used for my base card, I adhered the embossed card to the yellow cardstock

I made the flower using spellbinders sunflower die and coloured the flower with chalks, I layered the flower and attached it to the centre of my cut out circle,

I attach a ribbon bow and then mounted this to my base card.

Thanks for dropping by and please call again

Green and white Garden Silhouette

I think this must be one of the easiest to make, I covered my base card in bottle green cardstock and then cut a piece of white cardstock into 3 pieces I put one piece through the cuttlebug using swiss dots embossing folder I then attached the 3 pieces leaving a space between each piece,

I stamped 3 different images on white cardstock using Stampin Up 'garden silhouette' stamps, I punched them out with Stampin Up round punch and then using bottle green cardstock I punched out 3 larger circles using Stampin Up scallop punch, I glued my stamped images to the green scalloped circles and attached them to my card with mounting foam,

I made the ribbon bow with my home made ribbon bow maker and attached it to the card.
